There was a thread started here not long ago regarding rotary engine builders. Review their build philosophy and decide on a plan. You also have to include the costs of materials not included in the rebuild such as all fluids belts hoses and plugs...etc. I just had one of mine built last month and with all the perrifials, I exceeded my budget by almost 3000. It probably won't be the same for you but you need to be prepared for additional details. I could have stayed at budget but I felt- it's already torn down so I may as well do blah blah....and not have to go back later. Please make educated decisions regarding this car or you will be upside down quickly.

Why did you exceed your buget by 3000 is that what all the little additional parts add up to

Clutch, motor mounts, trans input shaft seal (and trans fluid), maybe even trans input bearing.. Then the usual plugs, wires, coils and anything else you find along the way. I also took the opportunity to do new OMP lines, oil injectors and sohn adapter. Might want a new vacuum block for the oil injectors too, fkin things love to get brittle and crack..

^ what he said. I had to replace all 4 oil injectors and added the sohn adapter along with the pinion seal. Purchased another transmission since it was grinding into 4th. Also a few cosmetic replacements...you know, it had to look a little better since the engine was new...
I never was any good with a budget lol.
