RX8 R3 BaT Sale
RX8 R3 BaT Sale
Hello All. Been around this forum for years but apparently neglected to make an account. Wanted to share that my R3 is for sale on BaT. Hope it can go to another enthusiast to enjoy like I have. Would have posted in the classifieds but because this is a new account this is the only location I can post for now. Feel free to move thread elsewhere if needed.

Thank you it is a wonderful car. I have made so many great memories with the car. I will look back on them fondly. Hope the vehicle can go to another enthusiast that will enjoy it as much as I have. I am not expecting to get what I paid with the change in market since. But hoping it does well and sells at a price reflecting what an R3 in such condition should go for. I too had been watching this vehicle for years prior to picking it up. Glad I did.
If it were completely stock I'm sure it would've gone for more. With the aftermarket parts, that value seems like a fair price to me imo. Hope you picked up something fun to replace it with!
For collectors concerned with value, this was the r3 the buy recently imo. Cool history too.

It did meet reserve. Do I wish and think it should have gone for a bit more...sure. But it sounds like it is going to a good home. I made some great memories with the car. Glad that I owned it. I can see myself owning another rotary later down the line, great cars.
If it were stock, I wouldn't have been surprised to see it clear $20k. Trading owners every couple / few years is a little suspect but nothing to hold back someone who really wanted a nice r3.
The elephant in the room is that the RX8 is a niche vehicle and a very specific consumer demographic and for collectors (most) of any vehicle, only stock low mileage X holds a perceived monetary "value." All things considered, I personally think it was a fair valuation.
