Unhappy RX8 Problems. I have no power. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi, I have been having some issues with my RX8 lately.
The car drives idles normally. Drives normally for first 10-20mins then it starts losing power.
NO CEL LIGHT.

If im in third gear and floor it, the RPM drops instead of going up and the exhaust has a much louder/bassier note. The car is all stock. No mods at all.
  • I got the cat checked and cleaned by a professional.
  • Replaced ignition coils and spark plugs. Old ones (which were replaced about a year ago) looked pretty nasty.
  • New Battery
  • Cleaned air filter
  • New MAP sensor

I got a CEL light on sunday after replacing the plugs. P0661
After researching for sometime online, I decided to remove the intake manifold to get to the 3 vacuum solenoids. I tested them with a 12v battery and by blowing air in them. All 3 seems fine. I ordered new ones and will get them in a few weeks.
I also noticed oil dripping on a black box with letter "R" on it next to the cat. Where is it coming from?

Could be something else?

Here's a video about how the car behaves.

Question:
How does one clean the Catalytic?
(no really)
I didn't this was possible.

What Sonic said "Check SSV"

If you can, maybe get lucky, borrow a midpipe to swap out your catalytic and see how it runs. (again if you have the room/tools/and skillz)

Did I miss the mileage and the year somewhere?

I think (THINK) that's the rear transmission (ppf) mount.

And also check fuel pressure/pump

The black part is a vibration damper for the transmission/PPF attachment

Hi WCS,

I didn't know it can be cleaned either but since I was there, I gave it a shot. They told me that they sprayed some special chemicals to remove the carbon and hosed it down. Cost me quite a bit of money.

The car is actually an 05 with 118000 kms (73321miles).

I've heard people claim that a cat can be cleaned, but I don't believe it.
If you paid a lot for it, then I would venture to call it a ripoff, since probably thousands of Rennys could've benefitted from it.
If you've never had a P0420 cat below efficiency code, I'd think your problems lie elsewhere, but try to find a shop that will properly check it.
