This is probably not a good question but how do i know if my rx8 transmission fluid is low and the gear oil.

 

The question is fine, the thread title isn't. Please be descriptive. "RX8" is about the most generic and uninformative thread title you can think of on an RX-8 forum.


The transmission and differential are both sealed. If you have a fluid leak you should see signs on the ground under the center of the car. Transmission (automatic and manual) and differential fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles.

 

Which transmission are you talking about, manual or automatic?

 

Check the dipstick...duh

 

Monchie, the transmission and diff don't have dipsticks.....

It would on an automatic, that's why I asked the question.

 

4 sp auto has 1, not sure about 6 sp auto
