Every car has it's quirks, this particular one has engines that generally last less long than equivalent piston engines. They are easy to replace and cost a certain amount when the time comes.
There are a few other issues that you should be aware of that are at the site, which will influence the life of the engine and your enjoyment of the car.
Whether that's worth it for you, we cannot say. We can only inform.
Most of us are here because it's worth it for us.
