Was driving a good distance near the end of my path my car rpm faltered and loss of power usually at 6500 rpms or when take is lower seems to do it anywhere. It failed completely to the point now where it won't turn over hardly and maintain idle. When turning over and kekein on position new noises are noticed. A humming when turning to on position while under the hood I noticed a type of noise I can't quite describe. Can anyone help me

It's only been a couple of hours, and it appears that none of the 33 lookers have had any ideas. Wait til the day shift comes on and folks start to make suggestions.

Be prepared to figure out how to describe that sound, or at least post a recording of it.

As Ken said, describing the noise would make it a lot easier to formulate a possible diagnosis. Also, spell-check might be an additional help as there are a couple of words you used that didn't ring a bell (ie: kekein)
