Rx8...continued maintenance...fuel filter and paint question

Hi so couple of things i had done so far...

I used a rubbing compound (Turtle Wax) to get rid of the oxidizing paint on my hood...then sealed the paint with Nu Finish Its cheap but read reviews that the can be compared to other high priced paint sealants ... says its good for a year but will see...

*Any of you guys have experience with paint sealants? And will the oxidization eventualy come back?

Also im looking at the manual and there is no replacement recommendation for the Fuel Filter for maintenance...

*Have you guys replaced yours? if so how often would you change it?

The fuel filter is in the fuel pump. It's not a serviceable part.

In the california sun, I would reapply whatever sealant you choose often. UV breaks it down, and when it's done with that, it breaks down paint. So keep that layer thick.
