RX8 Aftermarket Stereo installation? (Do I need Metra kit?)
Hey guys,
I've recently brought the double din adapter frame and a wired harness adapter of eBay and I already have a double din stereo.
I'm just wondering if the installation is pretty straight forward like any other car?
Will my ac work still?
Or do i need Metra Kit?

Did you get your trim panel yet? I am curious how it worked out. It is my understanding that the HVAC display is processed through the factory radio so you would need to have either the Metra Kit to get that and the clock to work but I could be wrong. I was looking at the ebay panels but they seemed to all say that they only worked with the 2009-2011 vehicles. What year is your RX8 and does it look like it will fit well?
