Improve in what way? And search, anything you could dream of asking about the RX-8 has already been asked and discussed.

I want start with the transmission, to improve my RX8, because here in Central America, it's really difficult found anyone who knows how to repair these engines, now I have 2 engines, one stock (Newly bought) and the other damaged (I bought the car with the engine damaged). I've already improved the cooling system on the stock engine and to see if everything works well, I want to demand more from my engine by improving the transmission. I want to be faster only improving the automatic transmission, meanwhile, bring parts to repair the damaged engine, perhaps a turbo engine !!!

Making it faster in what way, increasing the shift points? That's not gonna do much man. These cars are slow, and turboing an auto car is going to be a massive waste of money. Someone's had it done and it made.... the same amount of power as a naturally aspirated stick shift. That's a whole lot of... nothing.

yep my buddy spent more money than i can imagine on his turbo 4 port and made the same power as my 6mt. he eventually did the m/t 6port swap with turbo and blew it up in under 1k miles
