Room fuse help

Ok guys had a rx8 for about a year now, wanted to check and see if my room fuse was blown cause at height rpms and short burst of acceleration my car cel flashes. Now that I pulled it and put it back in , my idle is rough. It's been about 65 miles since and still rough . Figured it'd go away by now. Help?

Why did you think that would be the room fuse?

You have a misfire caused by poor ignition and/or clogged catalytic converter, and are in danger of losing your engine. Get the cat examined and replace ignition coils, spark plugs and wires. That may fix the rough idle as well.

Do not flog the car until you do those things. Try to avoid driving it at all.

Room fuse

No that stuff has all been replaced in the last 2k miles and I have a downpipe. Could the Downpipe be causing it?

Do you mean midpipe? What kind is it? Put it this way, high rpm misfires are a symptom of an obstruction in the exhaust system. Think about if that's a possibility.

Another option is SSV or VDI valves. Do you have any check engine codes? Post them up here.

PO302 is what I'm getting back on my OBD but when I take it to autozone or somewhere they get the cat code.

P0302 is misfire in rotor 2. Try to swap the coils for rotor 1 with coils for rotor 2 and see if it now gives P0301. If it does, one of the coils you swapped to R1 is faulty. Where did you get the coils?

The cat code would make sense if you have a catless midpipe, and it wouldn't be the cause of misfires.

+1 on swapping the coils and checking the codes again.

you might want to pick up one of the OBDII Bluetooth adapters.
they're around $10 on amazon, and will save you many trips to autozone.

I'm going to switch them around soon and find out also I didn't change the wires when I did the coils and plugs, so I'll do that when I switch them to just in case. And I have a obd2
