are reupholstered dashboards safe?

still looking to replace the passenger dash
I was looking at this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254741463475?ul_noapp=true
I contacted the seller he said you can attach your airbag
but I was unsure if it was safe?
doesnt the stock airbag have precut lines for the explosion which is what leads to the cracking?

also i have a 2010 so I am also unsure if the series I and series II passenger dashboard covers are interchangeable?

Completely unsafe. The cracking is more a material problem. As you can see, it cracks everywhere lol. The new material should be made to have a breakaway point for the airbag which is H shaped. It's cheaper to just sand it down and do a carbon fiber wrap ensuring it is cut slightly at the "H" shape so the airbag deployment is unobstructed. If you will never have a passenger, go for it though.

mine has a small crack on it as well was thinking of just putting some putty in the cracks and then vinyl wrapping carbon fiber.
