Does anyone have suggestions or solutions for the following.

1. oil injector lines. Can you replace them with other hose if so what hose?

2. o-ring gaskets. What are suggestions. Dealer ones are 450.00 this seems crazy.

What gaskets and seals are good options and who makes them?

Atkins rotary has all of it. They're expensive, but not 450 dollar expensive.

 

I would not recommend using model airplane fuel line, especially the ones used for nitro models. One, they do not have a pressure rating on them (not sure if the OMP lines are pressurised but i would image they are) and two, the ones used for nitro powered models dissolve/fail when they come into contact with pertal/gas. I've had first hand experience as I use to fly models.

If you go to a local hose place they may have something that could work, you would want something pretty stiff like the stock ones tho. OEM spec is definity recommend, as if it fails, say bye bye to your engine and hello to full engine rebuilt.

 

I've rebuilt the lines on my FC RX-7 with some teflon or PFA tubing from Mcmaster, re-using the banjo bolts and new crimp-on connectors. Those have held up for at least 10 years now without leaking, and I know its fairly common in the RX-7 world to do that. I'd imagine that the RX-8 lines would be the same - outward appearances of the S2 lines suggest that they are anyway (I'd expect the S1s to be more similar to the RX-7s than S2's as well since S1's rely on a more similar OMP setup to the FC & FD than the S2's multiple pumps on top of the keg)
