Hi i bought a factory style wing spoiler for my 2010 GT RX-8 to replace the current lip spoiler...only to find out later that the factory lip spoiler has tabs that goes in a few holes in the trunk when i pulled it out... So i cant really just install the factory wing spoiler unless i can cover the rest of the holes...
1. Can you guys recommend anything that can cover the holes?
2. Or can you guys recommend spoilers that will cover the holes when its installed?
The Mazdaspeed spoiler should cover the holes, if you can find one and are willing to spend the cash. You'll have to hunt the for sale section here, ebay or some other classifieds site. There are cheap knock-offs, but they seem to have fitment issues.
Regardless, you'll still want to seal the holes in some way to prevent rusting.
What does the MazdaSpeed rear spoiler look like? I cant seem to find an exact result on my searches...
Right now i had to re install the lip spoiler with 3M adhesive, im lucky enough that i didnt snap the plastic but it dont sit flush anymore like it used too... Its good for now and i added another rubber painted lip on top of it to make it stand out more.
Why is it that you're wanting to replace the original S2 spoiler? They are somewhat uncommon and have a great look. Just wanting something a little more aggressive?

The wing style spoiler was an optional accessory on the S2. Post a want to buy ad in the parts forum and see what turns up. I really like the look of the S2 rear spoiler. The lip spoiler, not so much.
I've always disliked spoilers, and when I saw the spoiler on the craigslist ad for my car before I bought it, I knew the first thing I would do would be to remove it. But I got lazy, and after a week or so, it really started to grow on me. Now I kind of love it.
Whoever mounted those side skirts and wing needs glasses.
Haha indeed. Replacing the side skirts is on my todo list. You would cringe if you came and looked up close. I can't believe I hadn't noticed the spoiler hanging off the edge. Guess I need to add that to my list.
