Rear light fog issues

Hi all,
I drive a 2005 RX8. For the past few months I have noticed that my rear left light accumulates dense fog. It looks very odd, not to mention some difficulty arises for cars pulling up from behind.
Why does it create fog?
Please suggest ways to get rid of it permanently.
Please find a photo attached for reference.

Ive been away from the RX8 for a while. I know a while back they changed the gaskets due to a sealing problem. Take the old ones off and swap out for new ones. there's might be a way to make your own but I don't suggest that. Also whatever you do, DO NOT drill holes in your tail lights. Make sure they are dried up real good before putting them back on the car.

Thanks mate. Some have suggested to disassemble, clean and reassemble with silicon seals. And for an improper fix to drill.
