Rear Bumper Decal

Car is 10 years old. One previous owner before me. Same damn dealer decal on for the full 10 years. Car didn't get much time outside (only 4k miles per year). If I remove the decal (hairdryer and goo gone) does anyone think I will have an obnoxious oval pattern on the paint where the decal was due to paint fade?

Thanks.

one can only guess, try it and find out, even if you do it is still better than the sticker that was there. if so you could try wet sanding and polishing it to make it bend better.

also a cheap alternative to goo gone is wd-40.
