So while driving home yesterday, I had a friend point out a issue with my taillights. While driving, they don’t light up all the way. However, they light up while braking. Anybody ever heard of this happening? Pictures below.

Also, have any of you ever taken your S2 taillight’s apart and resealed them? I noticed today inside the taillight housing there’s dirt and a lil condensation. I’d really like to avoid having to buy a new set of lights, and I have a heat gun so if it’s at all doable I’d like to seal them with a better sealant. Thanks.

 

Nobody has had this issue before? I'm starting to lean towards buying another set of tail lights

 

I’m hoping you don’t find a solution to this. I replaced my left side tail light 6 months ago for the same issue. The replacement light is still a fish bowl. Attempt #3 at sealing it now the car is inside and thawed out this weekend. If you solve the light problem I’ll be sad about the waste of an otherwise good unit.

 

Unfortunately, this is the only real solution.
