Question about headlights

Right now both of my day-time running light bulbs are out (I just bought the car and noticed this today). Do I need to remove the front bumper to get to these bulbs and is there supposed to be an indicator on the dash for the day-time running lights? Obviously I can step out of the car and look but was wondering if there is an indicator. Thanks.

Edit: Damn now that I think about it I really hope it isn't my DRL module although both high-beams work.

Edit2: Figured it out. Found this DIY. Love this site. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-...-lights-87140/

You should keep off those drugs and pay attention if you're going to try and carry on a conversation.

They are very Difficult to replace.. Had mine replaced last week. If you can remove the bumper than its alot easier.

You can also slip your hand from the wheel well remove the sheilds but aligning the bulbs is very difficult.

You will notice this when you use your high beams they wont be alligned properly.

So either remove the bumper or take out the Light Assembly.
