ON Power steering Light on, power steering non functioning

I recently bought an RX8 and my wife wanted to learn how to drive it because she never learned manual.
While teaching her to drive she obviously stalled a few times.
One time when she stalled, the power on the car completely blacked out. I popped the hood and fiddled with the battery cables and the power came back.
However when the power returned the power steering was now not working. I looked into this and the most common answer i found was it may be a connector issue. So today when i had time i popped the hood and took all the connectors apart mentioned in the link below, and cleaned them and put dialectic grease on them. When i put it all together the power steeering still was not working.
Can anyone help with this?

if cables are all okay, that leaves the EPS module. u might have shorted the EPS module while fiddling the battery terminal.

If your battery clamps are loose, all kinds of things could fail randomly. If they don't grip the terminals well, replace them.

Did you check the big fuse on the positive battery terminal assembly (labeled EPS)?
