Was drifting my 8 all around town tonight. Hit the turn to head home over steered a bit but the 8 being so forgiving we still made a clean recovery, but right after my power steering light came on. I parked at home turned off the car set the key in the on position and turned all the way right and left turned on the car and the light was gone. Any reason why this happened should i check the connection of the plug that is under the air box?

 

I’ve had multiple PS issues in this car. If it just went away by recalibration (turn lock to lock) and hasn’t came back and you don’t notice anything different I wouldn’t worry about it too much. If it keeps coming back you should just check your PS harness connectors. The ones at the front underneath the coolant overflow bottle can get wet and cause malfunction.
