P2070 from preventative cleaning

hi i have a 2004 AT with 130,000 miles and about half that on a 2nd engine.

i look at these forums alot when i want to repair or do any kind of preventative cleaning and this place is very helpful and has alot of info.

today i decided to take my car apart and clean the ssv and surrounding electronics. i was very careful and followed the videos instructions to the T.

Took my ssv out and cleaned it till it shined.(it was very gummed up with gunky carbon)

Replaced every part the way it was before taking care to not have any extra bolts when i was done. (i even found a small tear in one of the hoses going to my thermostat and repaired it)

hooked up the battery and took it for a little revvy test drive to make sure everything is fine.(no leaks every thing looks tight and secured and im not having any power issues)

well i get back to the stop sign at my street and come to a stop and my car stalls.
(this has happened in the past but only happens when my A/C is on and i have driving for a while been driving and come to a stop. i can catch it if i turn my ac off.)

I restart my car and it throws a P2070 code ssv stuck open. the actuator moves fine it moved freely before i cleaned it.
i went home and reset the comp by disconnecting the battery and holding down the brake for a few minutes.

anyone have any clue what could be goin on?

Update:

I read on these forums that i can test the ssv by turning my ignition off and watching it cycle once which it does...if its working fine then why am i still getting a CEL from this? ive reset the light by disconnecting the battery but it comes back on....is this a code thats stored and will stay on even though the problem was fixed? can the guy at autozone remove it with his little code checker?
