Hey everyone. I am a longtime '89 rx7 owner and I just picked up an 05 6spd GT rx8 as my new Daily... The frame has 53k, with 3k on its new engine. Has a Mazdaspeed rear catback, and I have some BHR Coils sitting in the trunk. (Wrong place to put them, right?) I know the original owner.

Im posting this thread so I can get my post count up, I need to make a thread in the WTB section, I am looking for a Cobb AP tuner to purchase.



(BTW- Had a 5spd protege5 which I had as my daily for almost 5 years, sold that for an 07 Mazda6, which I then sold for this rx8, all in the span of 6 months, lol)

BTW your build list sounds exactly what I have planned to get to. The very first things on my list are the Cobb, BHR midpipe, and AxialFlow short shifter.

Looks good. I just got my 8 tuned with an accessport and it was absolutely worth it.

 

I know what you mean, my last two daily drivers were black and I couldnt stand it. Glad to have a matching red 8 to my red 7.
