OEM Wheels...series 1 and series 2 comparison

So my question is...

1. What is the advantageof having the 19"OEM series 2 wheels compared to 18" OEM ones?

2. Does series 1 OEM 18" wheels fit the series 2?

3. Does series 1 OEM wheels and series 2 OEM wheels wheigh the same?

1. Only the R3 has 19" wheels (maybe some special editions). The standard S2 rims are 18x8".
2. Yes.
3. Don't know.

1. The 19" OEM series 2 wheels on the R3 are forged.

I read that the OEM 19" wheels are lighter is that true? So going 19" wont effect my MPG just ride comfort vs performance?

I dont think you will have a big performance gain from the 18 to the 19 inch rims but i personally would rather have the ride confort. I do however like either set they both look great even though they are stock. I dont really know alot about the techincal side of things but i dont think it would be a huge impact on the mpg eother maybe 2 or 3 miles which isnt enough to worry about
