O2 Simulator...

I have a cat-less midpipe in the mail...I hate the thought of a CEL

OBDII Oxygen Sensor Simulator

Anyone use one of these with any luck?

No, O2 simulators won't fool the RX-8's ECU.

However, the ECU often doesn't realize that the cat is gone anyway. If you want to block the CEL, one of the ECU flashing tools is your best bet, as you can simply turn off the ECU's ability to show the CEL for a missing cat (or other CELs for other missing emissions gear, like the air pump)
