I have just joined this forum, I'm Mark and live in Surrey in the UK.
I'm a self employed rolling stock engineer working in the rail industry.

I bought an RX-8 three months ago and love it, its a 2007, 231, black with red/black leather trim.
Its done 65k miles and had a recondition engine 13k ago and still has 10 moths warranty left on the engine.
As soon as I bought it I fitted an uprated battery, D585 coils and 10mm racing leads. I also changed the engine/gearbox and diff oils to give the car a bit of a base lining.


I'm looking forward to using the forum for tips and advice. on some mods etc.

Another black RX8 owner here as well.
glad to hear you did some upgrades to the vehicle as soon as you bought it and are enjoying it thus far.

Question...mine runs well for 98k miles, except in reverse lol. Every time I put it in reverse, it runs really rough. Not to the point that I think it may stall, but just feels like its missing. Am I the only one?
