Newbie

Hello everyone. I am new here and am a new owner of a 08 40th. I only have one pic now but more to follow. Yes, I have already had her on the solo auto X course and she performed wonderful. Better than expected (still learning what she can do). Her name is RoXie.

Nice color, Have you read through the new member forums yet?

This one to be exact.

https://www.rx8club.com/new-member-f...t-here-202454/

Have you had a compression test done on your engine yet? If so, what were the numbers?

You should have 3 numbers per rotor and an RPM as well.

Something like this.

RPM: 250
Rotor 1 8.6, 8.7, 8.4
Rotor 2 Etc...

Always remember that if you have issue's with the car, someone HAS had them before. Bring your educated questions here and you will recieve welcome and helpful answers.

A fair warning. If you do not search beforehand some members are very honest with their responses.

Any Modifications?

Other than that enjoy the forum and most of all WELCOME!

Travis

Roxie is a beauty! Williard beat me to the new member forum suggestion, it is great and answers most questions right off the bat. Also, if your compression numbers are as high as he said, she's a beast hahaha. But in all honesty, Williard hit the nail on the head (he is a moderator so he knows all )
Have a great time with Roxie and if you have any questions, the forum is filled with so many people that are more then willing and able to help!

Thanks guys. I have read all the newbie threads before I bought her. I work for a Ford dealership, service advisor, so I pretty much have a tech on standby. Lol.
