New RX8 Owner! Winnipeg, MB, CANADA
Whats up guys! Just wanted to introduce myself! My name is Stephan, im from Winnipeg, MB, Canada, and I recently just got an RX8! a 2004, Velocity Red 6spd with 140k kms (about 86k miles) and im excited to learn more about the car and build it up! I got it with a pretty messed up trans so last weekend I took it to the shop and swapped it with a better one from a wrecked 8, also installed an Exedy Pro clutch kit at the same time.
Looking forward to being part of this awesome community, I guess this is 1/10 posts that I need to do but i dont really know what to post about, lol.
Also, side note... I am trying to get into making designs to put on shirts and sweaters and what not.... this one is not mine, just a decal i found that I thought would look nice on a sweater. Soon I hope to be making and releasing my own designs! any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated! https://teechip.com/rotaryengine

Just a couple things. Did you get a compression test. And fresh fluids and filters.

Looking forward to seeing what I can do with this car! Right now im saving for my first few mods. I want to get new pads and rotors, ss brake lines, cat back exhaust, CAI, coils and new wheels and tires.. But I quickly learned that with this car its a lot more expensive to modify. Oh well, it will all be worth it in the end! At least I get to enjoy it in stock form while I save up for the things I want
... Her name is Roxy (Roxanne) by the way.. LOL, I think it suits her perfectly!

Hey! I wish i had my own shop haha... I dont even have a garage .. But I either borrow a friends garage for an afternoon if its just a small job, or I take it to a mechanic if its a bigger job. Also made friends with some shop owners so they let me use their hoist sometimes, and usually just pay them cash if I need a job done!

Good stuff! I wish I was more mechanically inclined. I'm hoping to pick up some skills, especially since I want to get into an RX8. I tooled around in my old MX6 a bit, but it ended up as a bit of a beater so it didn't really matter what I did to it. I will be keeping my eyes open for a red RX8 on the streets!
