Hi all. Just taken delivery of my first rx8, bought sight unseen from the internet! The engine was on the back seat lol. Nice little project to get stuck into. It's a 2005 231 in silver

 

Well, good luck putting it back together, I guess since the engine is out, you may as well rebuild it right. There is more than a wealth of information on these boards about almost anything you can think of for these cars.

 

Currently sat on YouTube watching tutorials. It came with a bag of seals so going to strip the motor down and have a look and see whats up. I'm told the engine had loss of compression. That's all I know unfortunately
