New RX8 owner
Hi guys,
Just bought a 2005 RX8 with 50k miles on it's second motor
It has a few things needing done to it that I'm excited to work on but while I wait for parts I decided to tackle some dirty headlights (3M headlight restoration kit)
Sadly, I did accidentally mark the paint through the masking tape, just below the right side headlight.... but beyond pleased with the result nonetheless...

Good, it was swapped in at Mazda and sold by the current owner with around 10k miles. The guy I bought it from swapped out all the ignition parts and the midpipe when he got it. It was obvious he was pretty knowledgeable and knew how to take care of it so I felt pretty safe knowing he had it most of its life.

Fair enough. While good compression isn't the only hallmark of a healthy engine, it is a good one. I'd check to be on the safe side because some of the Mazda Remans are pretty hit or miss.

Always check the compression (and the battery connections).
