New owner in need of help!

Ive been the proud owner of my rx-8 now for two days. Its a 2005 6mt. I decided the first issue I wanted to tackle was the airbag light. I checked the harnesses under the front seats. Both were missing. The wires were torn out of the drivers side harness, but I found the wires under the carpet. I can solder those or replace the pins in the harness no problem. My issue lies with the passenger side. I cannot find the wires or plug for the airbag under the carpet! They seem to be missing! I took out the back seat to search for the wires, but I couldn't feel anything. There are some wires under the back seat, maybe two of these are for the passenger airbag system? I'm just not sure. My next step is to remove the console and try to find them that way. Anyone have any info? Do the pass airbag wires run to the front or back of the car? What colors are they? Any idea why the harness might seem to be missing? Thanks in advance!

Mason

Hmm, I was going to link you the service manual, but it's location index doesn't show the wiring harness in it, just the module's locations. Most of the location index pages show modules and harness.

Maybe this google image search will help you?

For example, this is a RHD car, but in theory it should be mirrored, and it looks like it would run along the upper side of the transmission tunnel:

Thanks a lot! I looked in the service manual, but I couldn't find anything. The problem is you'd think it'd be the same on the passenger side, but it doesn't seem to be on my car. I guess my next step is to remove my console and try to find the wires that way. Can't imagine how the connectors got the wires torn out of them. Any ideas? I just got the car so I'm praying that the airbags are all there and everything but I don't think there's really any way to tell until I get these plugged in.

If anyone knows what color the wires for passenger airbag connector are it would probably help!

Haven't striped the inside of my car like that but I have had enough out to say that the pic above is correct for the left drive body.

Would anyone be able to do me a huge favor and either take a picture of the airbag connectors for the passenger seats or look under there and tell me which color wires go to which color wires?
