Smile New owner here!

Just bought my new rx8 yesterday! It is a 2008 Sports Coupe with 84k on the body. I had him compression check the engine and it failed but was still under warranty from mazda so they replaced it for no charge. Had them also do spark plugs and wires. It also has a new clutch and an Aftermarket touch screen stereo, Cold Air Intake and Borla Exhaust. It is the Sunburst red and i dont have pics right now but im excited! I paid a total of 8400 for it.

Welcome.
You should change coils along with plugs and wires.
They are a known weak point and one of the main causes of misfires.
If you haven't already, you should get the catalytic converter checked.
Clogged cats are often the reason the engines fail.
Misfires kill cats, bad cats kill engines.
