FL new owner in Florida seeking input

Hi folks

I am a camaro guy. I buy1967-1969 camaros and resell them
yesterday I was scanning craigslist and saw a 2004 Mazda rx-8
it was maybe a mile from where I live so decided to go look at it then
buy me an Ice cream

So I go look and of course its high miles and will not start guy wanted $1800.00
So I told him thanks for his time I did not want to insult him with a low ball offer

He said "NO put it on the money"
So I offered $ 800.00
He said he could not do that and I understood and headed off for ice cream
got 3 blocks text message came back
do you have cash now ?
yep

so now I own a non running 2004 mazda Rx8 automatic.

should I
(A) rebuild the engine
(B) put in a corvette LS3 drivetrain
(C) Flip it as is ...

Taking opinions

Thanks

I would vote to option B, but I can't say that it's a money making proposition. A guy near me has been trying to sell one for nearly a year, he wants 15k for it.

It's a fun conversion, except you need a standalone ECU to run the V8, and you will need the rx8 ECU to handle the rest of the car. You also have to modify the steering, the front suspension, etc.

Original Craigslist ad

2004 Mazda RX8 automatic
145,000 miles on it
car has leather interior
Factory navigation
also has 18 inch aftermarket wheels
overall the car still in pretty good shape
not really sure what is wrong with it
I bought the car as a project but I have found out that it is not getting spark
thought that maybe it was flooded
once I found out it wasn't getting any spark that's a little further
Than my knowledge and I kinda need a car so I'm just going to cut my losses so at least maybe I can get a down payment for another car my loss your gain

he wanted $1800

I got for 800
