Hey all, just picked up an 07 rx8 with less than 30k miles at the end of nov :D

dont have many pics and the few i have are kinda bad. id take a few better ones but being in MICHIGAN I took the car up to my parents 3 hours away where i can store it for the winter for free.

Sucks to be you and have to store it for 4 or 5 months after just buying it, another reason to love Florida because the cooler weather just makes them run that much better and more fun to drive .

 

yeah, storing it sucks but id rather not risk an accident in the winter. its black and is a 6 speed manual, which is quite fun. I kinda wish it had a spoiler on it, so i might look to add on a "stock" or one of a similar size at some point.

I live in Northern Ohio and I store all of my cars for the winter as well. Don't want to get salt on them and don't want anyone hitting me and ruining my cars.

going to go get the 8 out of storage this weekend, already cant wait :D

 

so, been awhile since i checked in. so far I've only done a few things to her but here we go...

replaced all interior lights with red super bright leds
installed a sohn kit
installed some after market fender vents that I may end up taking off due to fitment issues, but for now they are just going to stay there because damnit i painted that ****.

I also have a sakebombgarage ignition kit on order, I know some people say its a waste on an NA car, but thats fine it seems like a really well built kit that will last me a long time and Im alright knowing that I wont use it to its full potential and that its way overkill.

the phone camera hates the red leds in the dark... not sure why but it just wont get a good pic, might have to mess around with the camera modes or something not sure really... but it kinda gives an idea, and yeah i know there is lot of crap on my back seat

 

wow, somehow i never actually noticed this... sorry I didnt reply man, I actually saw it in the trader thread and thought about buying it off ya but decided I could wait awhile on it, Ive been spending way too much money on this car already lol.

 

You can never spend to much money on a car. Especially an 8. They love deep pockets lol.
