Good morning everyone.

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself here - just picked up the car directly in from Japan and wanted to say hi. Quickly about me, I am 26 and currently living on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. I am originally from Victoria, BC and previous to this I was a Mazda6 owner. See photo of my last baby.



Other cars in the stable include a Honda Fit-AWD - also from Japan - and a Gilera Runner 125cc bike - from Italy.



Plans for the car - not much since parts are a fortune to bring on island. Since it was from auction, there are naturally some parts which don't work well or need some TLC. It also yells at me in Japanese every time i turn it on, so that's fun. Anyway, 2004 model with about 78,000kms. Here she is. Look forward to getting to know you all! Let me know if you need a Cayman holiday - happy to hook anyone up.

 

Tackling one import issue at a time...can anyone here read Japanese? Or perhaps a comparison for a similar set of buttons, in English?

When i read this all i can think about is the newest national lampoon's vacation movie where their navigation system yelled Japanese at them.

 

That's the first thing I thought of too!
But I can't find the source. It's not the navigation system...but the sound is coming from a speaker above the rear view.
