AL new member introduction

Just wanted to introduce myself. Looking to make a bad financial decision and purchase a RX8. I like the idea of having a fun car that I can still take my wife and toddler son out on weekend trips. I have an FC RX7 and can't take the family out in it....so I guess you could say I am looking for a weekend/Friday (Family car). Nothing like a rotary. I joined the forums for the typical reasons of help and advice once or if the car is purchased.

Thanks,

I am clearly missing something. Is there a post count you have to reach to start a new thread? I am wanting to make a WTB thread in that subforum and do not have access/permission. I looked at the forum rules in the new member section but dind't see anything.

You need to make posts here for now. I believe it's 10 posts and 30 days before being able to post in another forum. It's something like that. What did you need to buy?

The reason the time and post limit is in place is due to the amount of spammers we used to get. We put that rule in place on rx7club.com as well. Our rule is 2 posts and 24 hours of membership. It seems to work well for the most part. I find that I'm removing less and less posts and banning less spam members because of it.

Oh you know...just a mint Black RX8 R3. R3s in general don't come up much so thought I would ask around if anyone was considering selling.

Yes, I totally get the need. I just didn't see any rule that shed light on what criteria needed to be met before one could post. Thanks.

Wow, I wish you luck! Those are getting hard to come by in mint condition. As always ensure a compression test is performed before purchase.
