I'm in process of doing FE3 swap in my RX8, I figured I would share a build thread, but so far I'm limited to a new members forum.
While we here let me share some of my background. My name is Artem and I'm a degreed Mechanical Engineer, with prior automotive training/experience, also I was an engine lead on a Formula SAE team back in college. So I'm not new to custom builds. I been wanting to do an FE3 swap into 2nd gen rx7 since 2007, but I didn't realize that I can get rx8 for not that much more money. So hopefully soon enough I can open up a build thread and go into details. So far I got engine and trans mated, firewall cut and one engine mount done.
We just had a baby, so there won't be a daily progress, since I could not find any rx8 FE3 build threads, so I figured I will start one.

Hi, you need at least 10 posts to create threads in other sections of this forum.
This is to avoid spammers, bots and whatnot.

There is actually a thread in bold giant red letters and another in smaller, yet very large bold blue letters found at the very top of the new members forum that explains the new members rules.
Reading the new members sticky threads will get you pretty far in these forums...

I did search the forum, and the Internet itself. So far I think I'm the only one who has documented anything about FE3S swap into rx8, closes thing I found was a guy with 1.8BP engine swap on a mx-5 forum.
