New here! and one question...

So I've seen videos and people say that you should warm the car up before turning off, and that revving to 5kish or more RPM before turning off the car is a good idea... Is this something RX-8 owners should be doing?

Welcome to the club You should warm it up before turning off, otherwise it could flood, but there's no need to rev it to 5k and turn off.
