I've finally upgraded myself from a lurker to a newbie!!!!! After many many years of stalking the forums I've decided it's time. I just graduated college, and got a solid paying full time job. I've wanted an RX-7 for as long as I can remember, and an rx-8 since about 2004 (Go figure ), but now I'm in the working world I realize the chances of me getting a 1993 rx-7 that has a solid paper trail and a guarantee it won't **** out on me the day after I get it isn't very likely. However, it's "Big" sister is still very sexy with a rotary at heart, and now that I can afford one I'm jumping all over it. I just read through all the stickies here and am super pumped. I just hope over the years to come I can contribute to the rx-8 club as much as it has already contributed to me.

So I after years of casually looking at rx-8's for sale... and letting an 06 shinka for 12k pass me by. I'm ready to really buy one. But I do have my fair deal of questions, most of which I'm currently combing these forums for. However there is one that seems to be so devoid of topics that it may just be a horridly obvious answer. But the RX-8 I plan to go check out tomorrow 2004 Mazda rx-8 w/ new engine Has a recently replaced clutch AND engine. Basic "have you taken care of your Rotary engine " questions aside; based on what he has posted there I feel I should be asking about the locations he got his mods done. Also something like how old are the sports coils?
