Hey all! I’m new to the forum. I’ve had my 2011 rx8 for 5 years now! I haven’t had any issues until now. I’m looking to sell it as soon as possible. I’m pretty sure the engine is flooded. I don’t have the means to fix it unfortunately. Plus my husband and I are moving soon and it’ll be easier to not have the rx8 sadly. I’m not sure where to post it for sale. I’m located in southeast Louisiana!

Also, color and trim?
If it's not red or silver, I may be interested.
I didn't run it yet.
Would you want to keep it if you could start it?
Often the things that cause flooding are not real difficult or expensive.
Since you have time, I could try to help you get it running.
If the engine isn't dead or dying, it might be an easy fix.
If you know someone who can do a little competent wrenching, maybe we can walk through it and get it started, then it would be easier to sell.
I've talked to a couple of people recently who were going to bring them to shops, and I helped them get them started without any expense at all.
Now, if you KNOW the engine is failing, please disclose it and respect everyone's time.
If you truly don't know the engine health, I can maybe help with that too.
Maybe.
I have a compression tester, and probably before September, I'll be passing through Hammond on I-55 on my way to Raceland.
Slidell's about an hour detour and not too terribly far.
If you can prove the compression is good, it would be easier to sell if you still want to.
