FL The new guy.

Hey y'all! My name is Russ, im in Jacksonville Florida. I've been a rx7club member since the early 2000's.
I'm about to get my first rx8 over the weekend. It has low compression so a rebuild will be in order. Figured if i need any advice y'all will be more than willing to help. So far from what i have seen everything looks about the same as the older rotaries So I shouldn't need to much help, but you never know.
If there are any locals, hit me up! Thanks, Russ.

Russ,

Aside from a few small things, the fact they both have a version of a wankel engine, they both use oil and they are RX series RX8's and 7's are not similar.

Many come here with that same thought pattern and simply put its incorrect.
Mainly aside from the obvious outward appearance, the Renesis platform is quite different from the 13B/13BREW

Below i have added a few links to get your feet with the the RX8 and Renesis.
