New clutch no start

Okay maybe somebody know my issue . I just did a clutch install and new radiator now the car cranks but doesn't start. It does crank but isn't doesn't seem to be even trying to start . it has been sitting for about 2 months. Also odd note is when the car is in first gear with the clutch depressed it jumps forward like the clutch is engaged.is there a adjustment I don't know of for this.

Please any ideas are great I am stumped

The clutch pedal should be adjusted to fix the lurching. You need to raise the friction point higher in the pedal's travel. This is done through a couple of nuts on the pedal's pushrod.

This is a simple thing to try first. The clutch itself could also be out of alignment.

I got the car started it was an issue with flooding but now with it running it won't go into all gears it will go into 3rd and sometimes second . I will try to adjust the pedal I also have not bleeded the clutch line should I do that ...this is my first clutch install if u haven't guessed by now

Yes, that tends to happe if the clutch can't disengage fully. Adjust the pedal before driving further. And bleed the system.

I'm having the same issue right. I just had it towed to mazda to have them deal with it. My car started to crank but sounded like complete cap when it did and it smoked out my garage with a sweet smelling white cloud. I gave up I posted a thread and I didn't get any help. This is the most help I have heard about this from Loki
