Hello
Decided to jump in head first and buy my first Rotary after years of Turbo.
Searched the used car listings for 2 months until I could find one in the right price range and one where the owner had the right answers.

I picked up a 2004 Mazda RX8, 5spd with 189,000kms on the motor. The owner had put in a new coil pack, new cat, new spark plugs, new rotors and brakes, full fluid service and all the paperwork to prove it.

This site has been very helpful so far and I look forward to reading up on as much as possible and maintaining the RX8. I'm heading off to Mazda on the weekend to see if the cars had all its computer upgrades done.

Loving the power and still suprised by the high revs but can't wipe the smile off my face. Wife says it's my mid-life crisis toy but I'm just 33 and having some fun.

Look forward to cathcing up with all the Canadian owners.

Welcome. And +1 for the crisis, I'm on my second one, luckily my wife doesn't care as long as I fund my toys myself!
