Hi all. I’m in Phx AZ. I have an 04 automatic (because I drive with my hands♿️) don’t tease me lol
The engine was replaced twice under warranty and now it needs it again,
I’m not against a swap! What’s the best, cheapest, way to go and does anyone know of engine for sale near by and or local mechanic who is a pro at this...?

Are you looking to rebuild it, or just swap a motor into it?

 

Who diagnosed the engine as needing replaced or rebuilt? Was a proper compression test performed? Was a cooling system pressure test performed if you were advised of a cooling seal leak? How many miles are on the current engine and was it a Mazda reman engine?
