Just got my RX8 less then a month ago and I took of my bumper (because it was broken) and noticed that I do not have the entire VFAD assembly. I've read other threads here that say it dosen't matter its just for noise control but im not sure if i should be worried.

 

It depends if it was capped off properly or not. Generally you want it, but plenty have ran without it as long as the vacuum port is capped.

 

I didnt see any caps under the hood, where should I cap it off?

 

Uhm ... where it says "Cap VFAD here" in the diagram.

 

Sorry didnt see that and as it turns out its been capped by previous owner
