Need help

Hey all my rx8 has a foamy dipstick and wont start. I literally just bought it and really stressed. Have no idea. I don’t know since it’s cold where I live if that changes anything but really worried

If its white and milky might have a big problem. Do a block test make sure it's not a coolant leak into the engine.

Milky dipstick is known normal on these cars. In cold weather especially. Don't worry about that.

Have you tried anything to get it started like change the gas? Check spark plugs?

How much do you know about the history and state of the car? Have you had a compression test before buying it?

Addressing the nonstsrt issue. The engine may be flooded. follow the deflood procedure as listed here on the forum. I'm out of time before work or I would just type what you need to do. Ensure your spark plugs are in good condition before reinstalling them. Ensure they are clean and dry. Engine should start and smoke for a couple mins. Very normal to have this happen in cold weather. Next step is a proper compression test with a rotary compression tester.
