Nav Screen Woes

I know this has been drug up and killed off many times before but I really need to bring this up again. I have an '04 with the Nav option. I got the dash taken apart and pulled the gear out to reset the screen again. When I pushed open with the gear out the motor spun just a little. I'm assuming that was resetting itself to the "closed" position. I hit open again and the motor spun quite a few times. Then, as I was preparing the put the gear back in, the screen slammed shut and now won't open at all. If I hit open the screen pushes down slightly then stops. If I open the screen by hand it lights up and works but it just won't open with the motor. Not that it's a big deal I'm just glad I got the screen to work but now I've broke something else in the process since it would open and close before. Any thoughts guys? I have searched and searched but I just can't find a clear answer nor can I find one to this particular situation. Thanks y'all!

Okay, I got it fixed and all put together and it works beautifully!! However, now my info display and radio don't work or light up... I had this problem a few months ago when I hit a bump in the road and it all shut off. I probably just didn't get a plug plugged in all the way but that's a problem for tomorrow.
