my RX8 problem (Please Help)
my RX8 problem (Please Help)
I have a 2004 Mazda rx8 automatic with 57,000 miles and having a problem with it
it has a new battery, spark plugs from dealer, new ignition coils and swapped out new coolant and oil and oil filter
My problem is that is will not start back up when it shut downs until maybe 5 to 10 minutes and also my coolant light is always on but I swapped out the coolant and also has a small difficultly of starting it.
Please help me and thank you

Welcome to the forums.
You should go back to your dealer and get a rotary specific compression test. You should get six numbers and an rpm number. Brung it back and we can interpret it for you.

The coolant light is a common issue, the level sensor in the coolant overflow bottle goes bad. Solution is to replace the overflow bottle.
As for hard starts when warm, that's definitely cause for a compression test as stated above. I won't sugar coat it, you may need a replacement engine. This tell will confirm or negate that.
