So...this is my first RX8 and my first sports car. I bought it over the weekend after my 2000 Acura TL's tranny went to crap. It's a 2004 GT with just over 40k. One previous owner. It's in like new condition. Anyway, excited to be a part of team RX8. Already doing some easy maintenance as suggested here.

Here is the family. Loving it! Cleaned the MAF and IAT last night. Running like a champ. I think I am going to go ahead and insulate the AC lines this weekend and then look at getting a grounding kit for the electrical (either that or just clean the grounds and add star washers). Fun stuff.

It's an awesome car, enjoy it. Read up in the new member forum. It has a LOT of good information that everyone should read at least once. But anyway, welcome to the RX8 Community. If you ever have issue's with this car. Come to this forum first, Then once you have it all figured out you can take it to the stealership

10k. probably overpaid slightly, but it's one of the nicest used cars I've ever seen. Inside and out. The only issue was the kickplate on the driver side was missing, but the dealership ordered one and is shipping it to me. I'm happy so in my mind I got a good deal.

That actually seems on par with what 8s are going for in my area. Perhaps a little less. Great find. Looks clean!
