Just got my first mazda last night, its awesome. Still gotta practice on driving stick tho. The car has 48k miles on it. The car is perfect no damage except for the speaker on top of the dash, the lining is coming off.This is my second car, owned a 2005 1.8t gli Jetta before. Comment what you think about it!

thanks everyone. Ive been doin pretty well with it. The only problem im having is when i shift from 1-2nd it jerks a little bit. Im guessing im letting the clutch out to fast?Also it does this only sometimes when switching from 2-3....?

 

Yup, you let out the clutch too fast, I had the same problem for a very long time until I got the hang of it. Just be slow and smooth but not as slow as 1st gear. As you go up in gears you don't have to be as slow, but that doesn't mean you dump it either, neither does it mean you slip the clutch like crazy.

I drove my friend's mustang and shifting in that seemed much easier, feels as if the 8 has a bigger learning curve for new stick drivers. I am terrible with being precise with instructions, you will get better over time, I can assure you that.
