Arrow Midpipe / Decat pipe...?

Hello every1 and thank you for.taking your time to read this. Now,i know that i might be wrong on this 1 and im asking if i am to correct me in the answers section. So,im thinking of getting a pipe for my rx 8 hoping i will increase the throtle response and shoot some flames haha. But im not sure if im supposed to get a midpipe or decat pipe,is that the same or they are 2 different things? Also, how much would it cost me to replace my exchaust system and pipe at a total? Thanks to every1 who answers!

"Catless Midpipe", Cat-delete, Straight pipe.. in the context of what you're asking they're all the same thing.
You wont notice any difference in performance or throttle response by removing the catalytic converter on a stock engine. It will sound louder and will have a better chance of shooting flames.

Cost will depend on how much you want to spend. An angle grinder, length of tube, and a welder might be sitting in your garage now. An aftermarket kit.. used would be a couple hundred to 1000. Custom.. sky's the limit.
