WI markjp - New Member With Some Questions

Brand new to the club, so I apologize in advance if I offend or violate any members or rules. I have a 2004 lightning yellow rx8 gt (6spd) with less than 12k miles. Looking for feedback/suggestions/ideas for myself and my future with or without my rx8. I have tossed around adding hp and torque kits (super charges, turbos) but I have been unable to find a shop with high hopes andonly poor prognosis of potential problems. I am not wrench throwing guy. Love the way the car eats up a good winding road, but can part with it if there is a potential rx8 owner that would like to take the helm. Words of wisdom greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As you are new. welcome. Before performing any mods, you would be best to read this thoroughly.

Once you have read and understand that, THEN you can think about mods as there may be regular maintenance items that need to be taken care of first (like a compression test, if not already done).

CA 2004 rx8 won't turn off even after key is out of the ignition.

I have a 2004 rx8 6spd, and my problem is that my car does not want to turn off even when I take the key out. Just took it to the shop and this guy charges 100 per hr but hasn't found the problem. I Need help... any suggestions??? Thank you.
